Christmas 2018 at St Anne’s
At St Anne’s Hoxton we believe that there’s nothing better than a traditional Christmas, which gets gradually more and more exciting as the season of Advent prepares for the joy and fun of Christmas! Traditional carols, mince pies, a crib service for the children and parents and a proper Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve! You’ll find all of this and more at St Anne’s. Some of our local schools will also be coming to celebrate the festive season with us - on Thursday 13 December, we’ll be welcoming the City of London Academy Shoreditch Park to St Anne’s for their Carol Concert. Then on Thursday 20th December, Hoxton Garden Primary School will be coming over for the Carols Singalong. We’re delighted to be celebrating Christmas with our local community and you’re all very welcome!
Our Christmas trees will be put up in the week of 10 December and we will officially light them and bless them during our Carol Service at 6.30pm on Sunday 16 December. We then build our crib on Sunday 23 December during the Family Mass at 11am!
Midnight Mass is the highlight of the Christmas season at 11.30pm on Christmas Eve, topped off by our Christmas Day Celebration Mass at 11am on Christmas Day, followed by festive drinks in the Vicarage.
